Scan Eagle
Mike McCord, a field service representative with Insitu, and Tim Dever, a field service engineer with Boeing, prepare the unmanned aerial vehicle Scan Eagle for take off on the flight deck aboard the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock-landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44). Gunston Hall is underway participating in Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years which represents the Navy and Marine Corps' revitalization of the full range of amphibious operations.
