Mid caption: Exercise Ausindo is a bi-lateral air combat exercise between the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and the Indonesian Air Force (TNI_AU). Exercise Elang Ausindo held at RAAF Darwin between 31 Aug 09 and 4Sep 09, demonstrates the commitment between Australia and Indonesia in developing co-operative air combat procedures. Exercise Elang Ausindo is a regular combined Australia training activity which is designed to increase our capacity to work together. The Exercise involved F/A-18 Hornets from Williamstown's 77Squadron and Indonesia F-16's from TNI-AU. This is the first time the TNI-AU F-16 aircraft have exercised in Australia.
